Earning an AA-T in English is excellent preparation for upper division studies at a CSU campus. Your degree will provide you with solid writing skills and a background in literature. Classes in the degree may include American, British, or World Literature, Shakespeare, mythology, creative writing, argumentative writing and critical thinking and other topics. Graduates of English bachelor’s degree programs often pursue careers in journalism, law, business, teaching, media, broadcasting, and advertising.
