Geography

Geography is the study of the earth’s landscapes, peoples, places and environments. Geography bridges the social sciences (human geography) with the natural sciences (physical geography). It is a unique way of looking at the world and solving problems. The Associate in Arts in Geography for Transfer will allow you to enter into upper division work in Geography or related field at a California State University (CSU). Geographers find rewarding careers in education, business, government agencies and nonprofit organizations. Increased emphasis on global awareness and the use of spatial technologies make Geography a flourishing educational field of study with many career opportunities.
